Weathervane Inn Web Re-Design - Envigor

We were recently given the opportunity to break into the hospitality industry by working with The Weathervane Inn of Montague, Michigan. Tired of the look of their old website, they wanted something that better depicted the unique features of the inn, namely that they are the only waterfront inn in the area.

So, for the past month, Envigor has been working closely with the Weathervane board to develop a site that we are both proud to reveal today!

The look and feel of the site is inspired by the lakeside features that surround the Inn, including a quaint boardwalk and marina, as well as its beautiful and contemporary interior. On a more technical side, the site features a customized WordPress installation to allow for editing the site as a whole. In addition, the site has also been search engine optimized to pinpoint the Inn’s target market.

I found Envigor through a side project they did on Etsy. I was looking for a designer for a website and marketing products. I'm on the complete other side of the country from Envigor. They were fantastic. I've never worked with a graphic designer before, but I can't imagine the process going any smoother than it did. It felt like Amanda was beside me as I opened my business. She was smart, professional, and put up with my mood swings gracefully. (I would like the logo one day, and then email her back the next day saying I didn't.) I could not have asked for someone more responsive. Emails were always answered immediately, with usually more information that I expected. Envigor delved pretty deeply into what kind of branding would best play to my business's strengths, and created something beautiful. I can't recommend them highly enough.
